Description

The BBMAX mixer, which complies with the EN 12697-35 standard, is used to prepare homogeneous samples of bituminous mixes in the laboratory with a view bituminous mixes to subjecting them to subsequent tests on a compaction table, a wheel Tracker, a gyratory compactor, module measurement and fatigue testing. Mixing is epicyclic type.

The tool holder arm is driven directly by the shaft motor, while the eccentric tool has its own rotation. The tool is an Archimedean screw.

A blade attached to the tool arm completes the mixing action by holding the materials in the tool’s path. The tank is housed in a casing containing the electrical heating resistors and an insulating layer. A BBMAX is available in 80 kg and 25 kg versions.
